"Cool place, came for the first time 03/20/26 got there pretty early for easy parking. Cool unique place inside. Liked the free water jugs. Made it feel more human. The security group almost got a zero rating. I left my earbuds in my car and before getting into the building itself. A few personnel were preventing me from letting me go back to my car to grab them. I even said I'll be coming thru the security line again. Finally a higher up let me. But for that much push back is crazy. Staff in the venue were a bit more chill but still the ones outside almost ruined it. Concert was dope. We shall see if I come to Austin again thou, you guys are crazy"

"We atrended Snow stripper concert last Sunday night at Emo’s Austin ,it was electric. The triple concert brought three very different energies onto one stage, and somehow they blended into one powerful, high-vibe evening. The crowd was packed, excited and fully in the moment from the first set to the last. Each artist brought something unique — from soulful vocals to high-energy beats — keeping the audience engaged all night. The sound quality inside Emo’s was solid, especially for live instruments and vocals, and the lighting added a great mood to the performances. You could really feel that the artists were feeding off the crowd’s energy. That said, a few things could’ve been better. The set transitions between the three acts were a bit slow, which broke the flow at times. Also, the venue got very crowded and warm especially near the stage, making it a little uncomfortable for lots people. Though, it was a fun, memorable night. Great music, great vibes, and a crowd that clearly came to enjoy every minute. Emo’s once again proved why it’s one of Austin’s favorite live-music spots 🍻"

"We came to see The Academy Is… play their 20th anniversary tour. I really loved that between sets, the staff passed out water cups to the people up at the front so we didn’t have to leave our spots for a drink. The nicest thing I think I’ve seen any venue do! Only complaint: a fight broke out during the opener’s set (Jon Walker) and when he saw it happen, he stopped playing and asked the crowd if they were ok, and they said they weren’t and that a guy was throwing punches. He immediately called for security to respond, but they were pretty slow about it. By the time anyone got to the front to deal with it, the guy had left the crowd and was pretty much out the door. If an artist calls to security, they’d better be quick about it because it’s clearly a problem. Other than that, great experience from start to finish."

"We drove from San Antonio to see the Runarounds play at Emo’s on Jan 17th. The line outside wasn’t very long when we arrived via Lyft. The venue was packed but there was still space to move around. There was a hotdog vendor outside in the smoking area. The drinks were reasonably priced considering. Overall the sound quality inside the venue was great, we had a good view of the band from just about any area we moved which was awesome. We went across the street to Canes after the show like so many other concert goers, it was a perfect quick bite after the show. Can’t wait for our next show at Emo’s!"

"The Phantogram concert was not over crowded. The acoustics were great. The bar drinks and service were excellent as well. The restrooms were clean. The staff took the time to hand out cups of water to the concert goers, which was much appreciated and very respectful. Would highly recommend attending an event here."
